Slab moisture, tested to standard
We test concrete slabs for moisture before flooring installation, so contractors can move forward without risking a flooring failure. Every test is documented in a written report you can hand to your GC, your flooring manufacturer, or your file.
For commercial slabs, we perform three tests:

Relative Humidity Testing
ASTM F2170In-situ probes placed in the slab measure internal relative humidity.

Calcium Chloride Testing
ASTM F1869Measures the moisture vapor emission rate (MVER) at the slab surface.

pH Testing
ASTM F710Checks surface alkalinity, which can break down flooring adhesives.
